Join us for an intimate and engaging Vietnamese coffee workshop at the Alliance Française, in collaboration with the Vietfive coffee.
Vietnamese coffee is known for its strong, bold flavor and unique brewing style. It’s typically made using robusta beans, which have a more intense, bitter taste and higher caffeine content than arabica beans. The coffee is usually brewed with a phin filter — a small metal drip filter that sits on top of the cup and slowly lets hot water pass through the grounds.
Guests will learn to prepare this comforting coffee while exploring the cultural significance and culinary techniques behind it.
Doors at 10:00 p.m. - event start at 10:30 a.m.
Please enter via 54 W Chicago St. A staff member will direct you to our Demonstration Kitchen for a complimentary welcome tasting portion of coffee.
