Just in time for the reopening of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris on December 8, join us for an insightful lecture that will explore its rich and storied history. With the help of fabulous images, author Russell Kelley will take guests on a vivid journey from the cathedral’s groundbreaking in 1163 to the devastating fire on April 15, 2019, to the ongoing rebuilding efforts set to conclude in December.

About Russell Kelley
Vice President of the Alliance Française Miami-Metro, Russell Kelley has spent 30 years in Paris, including the last 20 years living next to Notre-Dame. He is the author of The Making of Paris: The Story of How Paris Evolved from a Fishing Village into the World’s Most Beautiful City (Lyons Press, 2021).
