Journey through the Vallée du Rhône, one of the oldest wine regions in France, as we discuss the art of blending!
Working our way south through the Rhône Valley, we will discuss the different types of grapes grown in the Rhône appellations and the different ways they are blended. Learn about why grapes are blended, how blending partners are chosen, and what blends are legally allowed in the Rhône. While the focus here will be to dig deeper into Rhône wine preparation, the blending concepts we discuss are applicable to any wine regions, in France and beyond.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for a welcome drink. Tasting starts at 6:30 p.m.
