201 Aquarelle by Julie Ressler
Souvenir du Symposium des Arts Decoratifs, Alliance Française de Chicago, 2007: Porcelaine de Bernardaud et fleurs fabuleuses de Green, Inc.
Ms. Ressler’s philosophy is that: “If there are positive luminous images then our thoughts are refreshed.” She is known to have a joyous palette. The paintings here are of extraordinary flower arrangements in combination with the evanescent beauty of Bernadaud porcelain pieces, as experienced at the elegant luncheon for the Symposium des Arts Decoratifs. There were gasps at the sheer magnificence of the room, with one table more exquisite than the next! The beauty from that afternoon is commemorated by these gorgeous artworks.
