L’Alliance Française de Chicago and its team of dedicated teachers proposes six weeks of discovery through various entertaining workshops and two French language classes a week. Children will develop their skills and broaden their horizons, make new friends and be exposed to French! Embark on a six-week journey into French language and culture: Language Classes, Arts and Crafts, Song, Dance and Music, Games, Sports, Cooking and Field Trips… and much more, for children ages 6 to 12.

During activities conducted in French (with some English), kids will be divided into groups based on their ages. All levels of French are welcome.

French Classes

Twice a week, your children will benefit from French language immersion classes, thematically designed by the Alliance Française children’s teachers.

Arts

Wake up the artistic and creative skills in your children by exposing them to various activities such as painting, drawing and crafts in a relaxed atmosphere!

Games

Children will explore French in fun and entertaining ways through the joy of learning, playing, as well as creating their own games. What better way to make friends!

Sports

Let your children take advantage of summer weather and use their energy outside by practicing sports and sharing fun with the group!

Cooking

Offer your children the opportunity to discover French and African culinary specialties, to learn how to prepare them and how to recreate them at home! Develop vocabulary through practical usage designed especially for kids.

At least twice a week, children will go on a field trip to the beach. Children bring their own lunch every day. Snacks are served twice daily.

For families registering more than one child, a 5% discount applies to the registration of each additional child.
The prices listed reflect the following discounts:
• 5% discount for 5-week registration
• 7.5% discount for 6-week registration

Full payment is due upon registration. In case of cancellation by May 31st, payments will be refunded minus a 20% fee; there will be no refund after that date.
